WikiLeaks cablegate tag glossary

LAST UPDATED ON: 7 Dec 2010

The currently ongoing disclosures from WikiLeaks promise to be intriguing. The “tag” feature–which is based on the US State Department’s own categorization of each document–would probably work as the best filtering mechanism for the hundreds of thousands of cables that will be posted eventually. Unfortunately, WikiLeaks has not provided a glossary for the abbreviated tags so there is no way of knowing what each acronym stands for.
